Edwardian 9ct Yellow Gold Shell Cameo Earrings

A graceful pair of Edwardian cameo earrings in 9ct yellow gold, featuring finely hand-carved shell profiles of classical female figures. Framed in a twisted rope-border mount, these early 20th-century earrings capture the refined elegance of the Edwardian era while remaining effortlessly wearable today.

Each earring displays a white carved profile over a warm, natural shell background, bezel-set within an ornate gold rope-twist frame. The earrings were sympathetically refitted in the 1980s with solid 9ct gold posts and butterfly backs, ensuring secure and comfortable wear while preserving their original antique craftsmanship and charm.
