Edwardian 9ct Yellow Gold Amethyst and Seed Pearl Art Nouveau Pendant
A beautiful Edwardian floral pendant crafted in 9ct yellow gold, featuring a botanical openwork design adorned with vibrant pink amethysts and a single natural seed pearl. This antique pendant dates to around 1905 and showcases the elegant lines and romantic naturalism associated with the Art Nouveau era.
The pendant centres on a vivid, round-cut amethyst, framed by delicately engraved leaf motifs and a single pearl nestled within a stylised gold flower. A second faceted amethyst is suspended below in a claw setting, adding movement and light to the design. The fine detailing, from the hand-pierced goldwork to the subtle play of textures across leaf and petal, speaks to superior Edwardian craftsmanship.
