A beautifully designed Art Nouveau 15ct gold opal and pearl lavalier pendant, dating to circa 1895–1910, exemplifying the flowing, nature-inspired forms of the period.

The openwork design forms a stylised floral motif with elegant, sinuous lines. At the centre sits a high-domed cabochon opal, bezel-set and displaying lively play-of-colour with flashes of pink, green, and orange. Below, a delicately suspended pearl drop adds movement and refinement, completing the classic lavalier composition.

The upper section is enhanced by fine chain-linked connections, a hallmark of quality Art Nouveau workmanship, allowing subtle articulation and fluidity when worn.

A highly wearable antique piece, combining strong period design with a vibrant central opal, increasingly sought after in both collecting and contemporary styling.
